Much research went into this Rare pin. It''s been determined that it is signed Moeller attributed to Marner/Julio Marsella, also known as Jewels by Julio. It is clearly marked Pat Pend, Sterling, Moeller. It is gold wash over sterling, with much worn away. It is from the late 1930 to early 1940.
This is Love Birds sitting on a branch looking at each other. They are surrounded by colored rhinestone flowers which seem intact. This pin is 2" in diameter.
I am unsure about one area, where the four stones are by the bird on the left by his wing, the stone at the farthest, it''s present but the sterling area holding it has a rough edge. I do not know if this is damage or is in the making of this piece. I tried to show if photos but very hard to capture. It took a loop to see it. Very seldom has this pin been on the market or not totally identified correctly. What a great piece for any collection.
