Apollo Studios Fan Vase Jeweled Chalice Amber Blown Glass Antique Deco Nouveau
It casts a beautiful rainbow prism onto the surface & wall when the sun comes through.
The vase is 8-3/8" tall, 6-5/8" wide and 1-1/8" deep at the rim.
There are no missing jewels the delicate filigree base is intact. The glass insert has no chips or cracks.
I took several photos with several different forms of lighting
fan insert is thick & has a charming seed bubble & a really interesting larger bubble at he top.
There is some loss of the gold tone color in places which could be easily restored.
Apollo Studios items are rare esp one in this condition. After extensive research Only 5 have came to market in the past 10 years.
The vase was made by Apollo Studios NY a contemporary of Tiffany. This piece dates to approximately 1909-1922 Apollo marked their items w/ Apollo & the mold or style # This item is marked Apollo 2876
I wiped it but I didnt clean or polish the patina, I will leave that to the new owner
