Vintage Ornate Beer Stein - Hand Painted with Pewter Lid

Product Description
This is a stunning well crafted, hand painted, lidded beer stein. It is difficult to identify as what is left of the mark is not enough to pinpoint the maker. With a fair amount of research, it does have similarity to some makers but it has hard to tell. The stein itself is in excellent condition. There are minor signs of wear, but very minor. The lid is pewter and also in excellent condition. We tried to translate the words, but google translate was only partially helpful. We believe this is an early 1900s stein. We have not found one like it anywhere. It was acquired from a collectors estate and the other stein we acquired was an original Thewalt from the late 1800s-early 1900s. Wish we knew more, but we do know this is a unique, and stunning stein in excellent condition. See photos. 4" diameter. 7" (without lid) /10" (with lid) High.
