1- Homer Laughlin Cobalt Blue Border with Filigree 22 Carat Gold and Flowers 10” Dinner Plate, not yet stamped from 1900’s

2 - 1 stamped as Homer Laughlin K42 N4 Virginia Rose Border with Filigree 22 Carat Gold and Flowers 11" Dinner Plate (back stamp: Oct (K) 1944, Newell, WV plant 4)
…..and 1 (same) not stamped from 1900’s

Back-stamps:
Although the company started in the early 1870s, marks were not given any type of dating system until around 1912. (N for Newell, WV in Plant #4)

Virginia Rose pattern back-stamps from various years show one of the twelve alphabetical letters (without the letter "I" involved) used to designate each month of the year.
K = October + 2 digit year “44”
