From a collection of remarkable Railway lanterns, this is a rare Dietz "Acme Inspector Lamp". It is in good condition. This lantern dates from the 1930''s, or "mid-century". Everything about this piece is good. This lantern stands 14 1/2" inches tall and 19 1/2" inches high with the loop handle extended. The cowling is 7 3/4" inches across, and the lantern measures about 7 1/4" inches front to back. I feel fortunate to be able to offer some amazing pieces from this collection.
