This is a charming painting of a parent and child on the way home after cutting down a tree for Christmas. This also depicts cottages and pine trees in the snowy countryside.
The base is painted an evergreen color, not as blue as it looks in the photos. This item was totally hand-made and we doubt that you would find another like it.
It has a candle holder that is screwed onto the base, as is the half log on which the painting was made.
It measures 14 1/2 inches wide by 6 3/4 inches tall by 3 inches deep.
This would make a wonderful keepsake for your family with the thoughtful sentiment written in the artists own handwriting.
