Alexis Bittar was nominated for the CFDA accessories designer of the year in 2010 for good reason. These earrings show his creativity – the shaped wire makes me think of a bird cage housing a precious little gem. I think that the stones are Swarovski crystals. They look great. The cage will dangle from your ear like a floating lantern – gorgeous! This is a great way to add whimsy to even the most professional outfits and it isn’t so “out there” so it is perfectly appropriate for work.
