Moissanite has a Mohs Hardness Rating of 9.25, an extremely durable stone. Disperses heat like a diamond so will test positive on a diamond tester.
Higher Mohs than Sapphire, Emerald, Aquamarine and Morganite.

Sparkle and Fire Greater than that of a diamond at a fraction of the cost. High Refractive Index of Moissanite is 2.69 vs. Diamond is 2.42.

Moissanite has a Fire Dispersion 2.5 x Greater than Diamond (0.104 vs Diamond 0.044) which means more fire - radiant flashes of light and spectral colors.
