The regal-colored purple Amethyst is February''s birthstone and the traditional 6th anniversary gemstone gift. It ranges in color from a very light pinkish lavender to the deepest purple-magenta.

Aside from its size, what is most unusual about this stone is its cut. It is called a laser concave cut, which is intended to draw the eye INTO the stone. This can only be done with a super-clean and relatively large stone, and this covers both bases. It is an unenhanced, untreated, unheated, VVS (eye clean) clarity stone measuring 17 X 17 X 11 mm and weighing 15.6 carats!!
